How to Buy on a CEX​

  1. Create an account on a supported exchange
  2. Complete KYC (identity verification)
  3. Deposit funds (fiat or crypto)
  4. Buy NAM using market or limit orders
  5. Withdraw to your wallet (see next section)

Withdrawing from Exchange​

After purchasing:

  1. Go to Withdraw section
  2. Select NAM as the asset
  3. Enter your tnam address
  4. Choose Namada network (not ERC-20!)
  5. Confirm withdrawal
  6. Wait for processing (varies by exchange)
Network Warning

Always select the Namada network when withdrawing. Sending to wrong network = lost funds.

  1. Connect your wallet (Keplr or Namada Extension)
  2. Have source tokens ready (ATOM, OSMO, USDC)
  3. Select swap: SOURCE → NAM
  4. Review rate and slippage
  5. Confirm swap
  6. Receive NAM in your wallet

IBC Transfers​

If you already have tokens on other Cosmos chains:

From Osmosis​

1. Have OSMO or other tokens on Osmosis
2. Swap to NAM on Osmosis DEX
3. IBC transfer to Namada

From Cosmos Hub​

1. Have ATOM on Cosmos Hub
2. IBC to Osmosis
3. Swap ATOM → NAM
4. IBC NAM to Namada
